A new contract
A new contract extending Kane's stay in Germany is reported to be close to being finalised. Kane is 33, and his form suggests Bayern will want him for as long as possible.
Asked about a return to the Premier League — where he remains Tottenham's record scorer — he was clear: "I'm loving life in Munich."
Sharing the credit
Kane said his team-mates deserve as much credit as he does: "I have spoken about how this is theirs as much as ours." In his speech at the London Palladium he thanked Bayern, England, Tottenham, England coach Thomas Tuchel and his wife, Katie.
Straight back to work
There is no time to celebrate. Bayern play Magdeburg in the cup on Wednesday, then host Borussia Dortmund on Saturday with the two clubs level on points — all without head coach Vincent Kompany, who is recovering in hospital.
