Hakimi's night

Hakimi has always been one of the most attacking full-backs in the world, but he had never scored three in a game before. He was involved in four of PSG's five goals: he set up Godts' equaliser, put PSG ahead two minutes later and then scored twice in the second half.

It came at the right time. PSG are without Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is out for the season with an ACL injury, as well as Ousmane Dembélé, Marquinhos and Nuno Mendes, and needed goals from elsewhere.

The kids again

Luis Enrique praised Mika Godts and Senny Mayulu before the game, and both scored again, just as they did in the 2-0 win over Lyon — see PSG 2-0 Lyon. Luis Enrique has ruled out emergency signings to replace Kvaratskhelia, and nights like this explain why.

Le Havre's problems

Josh Maja gave Le Havre an early lead, but Didier Digard's side could not hold it. It is their fifth straight league defeat, and they stay bottom with two points. Before the game Luis Enrique had warned: "Every time we've faced teams considered to be weaker, we've had problems" — see our preview. For 25 minutes he was right.
