Milan 2-4 Bologna: Mbangula's hat-trick

Milan went into the game unbeaten in the league. They left San Siro with their first league defeat of the season. Mbangula scored a hat-trick for Bologna, and Milan defender Bartesaghi turned the ball into his own net. Cissé scored twice for Milan, but it was not enough.

Bologna had been in the bottom half for most of the season, which makes it one of the results of the round.

Genoa 2-0 Juventus

Juventus were caught on the break twice early on. Kingsley Ehizibue and Tommaso Baldanzi both scored from fast counter-attacks, and Juventus could not find a way back. It is another poor result for a Juventus side already well off the pace at the top.

Venezia 0-2 Inter

Inter needed help to win in Venice. Venezia had two goals ruled out for offside, and both of Inter's goals were own goals late in the game, by Moreno and Halal. Cristian Chivu's side move onto 25 points, level with Lazio at the top.

Monza 1-4 Napoli

A comfortable away win for Napoli. Rasmus Højlund ended his goal drought, Rafa Marín made it 3-1 and Kevin De Bruyne scored the fourth, his fourth goal of the season. The one worry was Stanislav Lobotka, who was carried off on a stretcher.
