Which club has won the most Premier League titles? Every champion since 1992, and the all-time English title count
Manchester United have won 13 Premier League titles, Manchester City eight and Chelsea five. Arsenal's 2025-26 win was their fourth. Here are the full rankings, plus every English top-flight title since 1888.

Only seven clubs have won the Premier League since it began in 1992-93. Manchester United have won it most often, but the balance of power has shifted: since 2010-11, Manchester City have won more titles than anyone else, and Arsenal ended a 22-year wait in 2025-26.

The eras of the Premier League
1992–2013: Ferguson's United
Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United won 13 of the first 21 titles, including three in a row twice (1998–2001 and 2006–09). Only Blackburn (1995), Arsenal (three times) and Chelsea (three times) broke through.
2003–2017: Arsenal, Chelsea and the challengers
Arsenal's 2003-04 "Invincibles" went the whole season unbeaten — still the only side to do so in the Premier League era. Chelsea won five titles in 13 seasons under Mourinho, Ancelotti and Conte. Leicester's 2015-16 title, at odds of 5,000-1 at the start of the season, remains the greatest shock in the league's history.
2017–2024: City's dynasty
Pep Guardiola's Manchester City won six titles in seven seasons, including a record four in a row from 2020-21 to 2023-24. Their 100-point season in 2017-18 is still the Premier League record.
2024–2026: Liverpool and Arsenal
Liverpool won their second Premier League title in 2024-25, and Arsenal their fourth in 2025-26 — Mikel Arteta's first, and the club's first since 2003-04.
All English top-flight titles (since 1888)
The Premier League replaced the old First Division in 1992. Counting both, the all-time list looks different:
| Club | English titles |
|---|---|
| Manchester United | 20 |
| Liverpool | 20 |
| Arsenal | 14 |
| Manchester City | 10 |
| Everton | 9 |
| Aston Villa | 7 |
| Chelsea | 6 |
| Sunderland | 6 |
Liverpool drew level with Manchester United on 20 with their 2024-25 title. Most of Liverpool's titles came before 1992; most of United's came after.
